Very different experience at this location than the one in Garland. The staff at the Abrams location very warm welcoming. They didn’t try to give other people items and I was even made a generous offer. Thank you Abrams location for exemplifying customer service!

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Plato’s Closet for their honesty and kindness in finding and safely holding onto my billfold after I accidentally left it behind. Not only was it returned to me with all its contents, including cash, completely untouched, but this act of integrity also reflects the high level of respect and trustworthiness upheld by the company and its employees. Their exemplary character and dedication to doing what is right are truly commendable. Plato’s Closet is fortunate to have such outstanding team members, and I deeply appreciate their honesty and professionalism.

I wish a lot of the customers that are in there to sell would understand that it’s not “the audacity” or “being rude” to turn down clothes for not being trendy or in style because they market towards younger people that are up with trends and have different style and style is opinion, not fact. If someone doesn’t wanna buy your clothes because they don’t believe they will resell or they do not believe that they are currently in style with what is trending in the world of fashion that was pretty hard to keep up with, That is totally not on them, and I believe people might benefit from working on not getting so easily offended. They’re not obligated to buy your clothes that’s out of style and that won’t resell. I keep seeing so many people reviewing or even in person saying “they had the audacity to turn me away because my clothes were out of style.” That’s ridiculous. If they don’t do that then they might as well be goodwill! I find them to be kind, helpful, and an awesome way to get some cash for my used designer clothes and associates or to basically exchange them for new to me clothes! ***Before you gather your clothes together and go to the store or give them a review, make sure that you go to the website check out the videos and tips they give you on what clothes you should bring in and how much they would probably give you because I’m telling you it helps so much!*** Businesses do not deserve one star reviews from people that don’t understand how their business operates. They ladies here were all very kind; helpful, and hard workers! It’s not an insult if your clothes are rejected either. Fashion is a whole thing that you need to understand and there’s trends that you need to keep up with, and they’re trying to market towards younger fashionable people that prefer designer clothing and up to date styles, so please quit trashing them like that, they’re never just trying to be rude and it’s not their obligation to buy your clothes. Plato's, and other thrifting places are not a secret anymore! I came here to grab some stuff for my vacation, and they didn't disappoint. I hardly buy any new clothes, and why should I when I can get great clothes for a cheap price. Also, want I need to clean out of my closet, I just bring what I don't want here.

This is our favorite Plato’s location (on Abrams Rd) to shop and sell at! They have a variety of young adult clothings from athletics, dresses (so many dresses!), jeans, sweaters, blouses, shoes, as well as men’s clothing. The staff here is always friendly and ready to assist. I’ve sold here a couple of times too and it was a fairly simply process.

I came to this store with my wife. I expected to be bored. I was wrong. They also have a men's section. Even though this is a used clothing store, most of the clothing was very nice. There was a large selection for men, and even a larger selection for women. I left with many high name brand shirts without spending very much. The staff was friendly and there was a large selection of clothing. You will not be disappointed.

Well organized store. Was pretty easy to go thru the racks of clothing. Found quite a few things to bring home with me. Would definitely recommend visiting this location!
